Another subject that I want to talk about is the internet. Many small businesses don’t understand the potential of the internet. They say I run my business off line in my local area.

Even so, the internet has a huge potential in your local area. In today’s world many people are turning to the internet instead of the yellow pages. You can also save a lot of money by turning to the internet. Perfect example: Harvey West Pluming Company out of Plano Texas use to spend $8000 in yellow pages advertisements and now uses Google Adwords and spends $300 to get the same results that $8000 did when they used the Yellow Pages.

When you use the internet there are tons of ways to drive traffic to your site without spending a dime.
